Rename or duplicate an agent
Give an agent a new name, or make a copy to try changes on.

Steps
- Open AI agents › All agents and click the agent.
- To rename it, press Rename, type the Agent name and press Save.
- To copy it, press Duplicate, check the Name for the copy and press Duplicate.
- Open the copy from the list: it starts as a draft.

Troubleshooting
“Give the agent a name.” or “Give the copy a name.”
The name box is empty. Type a name and press the button again.
Tips
- A copy carries the instructions, the language and every source, and indexes them again. Restore points are not copied.
Good to know
- Copies count against the organisation’s agent and character limits.
- Only managers can rename or duplicate.
