Steps
- Open AI agents › All agents and click the agent.
- Press Restore points… at the top of its page.
- Optionally type a note under Save a restore point now (optional note), then press Back up now.
- To go back, press Roll back on a restore point and confirm with Roll back.
- Press Done to close.
Settings on this screen
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Save a restore point now (optional note) | A short note saved with the restore point, up to 120 characters. | — |
| Back up now | Saves the agent’s name, instructions, status and sources as they are now. | — |
| Roll back | Puts the name, instructions, status and sources back as they were then and indexes them again. The current state is saved as a restore point first. | — |
| Delete this restore point | Removes the saved copy. The agent itself does not change. | — |
Troubleshooting
“Restore points have reached their storage limit. Delete an older one first.”
Delete a restore point you no longer need with the bin button, then save again.
Tips
- Because the current state is saved before every rollback, a rollback can itself be rolled back.
Good to know
- Only the newest restore points are kept; the dialog says how many.
- Everyone can see restore points; only managers can save, roll back or delete them.
