Add and verify a device
Add a mobile, desk phone or SIP phone that your calls ring, and verify it.

Settings › My devices › Add a device
Open this screen
Steps
- Open Settings › My devices and press Add a device.
- Enter a Name and choose the Kind.
- Enter the Number to ring (or the SIP URI for a SIP phone), the Ring position and Rings for (seconds).
- Press Add device.
- Press Verify, enter the six-digit code sent to that number in Code, and press Confirm.

Troubleshooting
It says no message was actually sent and shows the code.
Real calls are not switched on for this service yet; use the code shown.
Tips
- An unverified number is somebody else's phone: one mistyped digit would ring a stranger on every call.
Good to know
- A number is never rung until it has been verified.
