How do I confirm my email address?
Finish your sign-up by opening the confirmation link, or have the link sent again.
Where to find it
Your inbox, and the bar at the top of every screen until the address is confirmed
Open this screenSteps
- Open the email we sent after you signed up and follow its link.
- The sign-in page then says “Your email address is confirmed. You can sign in.”
- No email? In the bar “Please confirm your email address.” at the top of the screen, press “Send the link again”.
- Press “Later” to hide the bar for now. It comes back on your next visit until the address is confirmed.
Troubleshooting
The link says it has expired
The sign-in page shows “That confirmation link has expired or was already used. Request a new one.” Enter your email and press “Send the link again”, then use the newest email.
It says email cannot be sent
“Email cannot be sent right now. No message was sent. Try again once outbound email is available.” Try again later.
Tips
- Check your spam folder before asking for a new link.
- For your safety, the reply is the same whether or not the address has an account.
