Troubleshooting
The switch is greyed out and the header says Phone voice (cannot be played here).
The agent’s call voice cannot be played in the browser. Pick another voice in the list to test, or choose a call voice on AI voices.
Tips
- A Twilio voice is spoken by the phone network on a real call; here your browser’s voice stands in.
- A Vapi voice reads replies only on a Vapi call; here you hear its sample.
- When no voice is chosen for the agent, replies are read in the default voice, Eve.
Good to know
- Testing a voice here does not change the agent’s voice.
