Take calls in your browser
Go on the phone in the browser to receive and make calls, wherever you are in the app.

Open this screen
Steps
- Press Go on the phone in the phone bar. Allow the microphone if the browser asks.
- When a call comes in, press Answer or Decline. If a second call arrives, Hold and take it holds the first.
- During a call use Mute, Keypad and Hang up.
- Press Go off the phone when you stop taking calls.
Troubleshooting
"Browser calling is off: telephony is in simulator mode, so no real phone rings."
Real calls are not switched on for this service yet; the platform operator does this.
"Browser calling is off: there is no number to call from yet."
A manager gets a number on Phone numbers (Get a number).
"Browser calling is off: the carrier connection is not set up yet."
The platform operator sets up the carrier.
Tips
- The phone bar stays on screen while you move between pages, so a call never ends because you opened another page.
