Steps

  1. In the sidebar, open Sources › Files.
  2. If you have several AI agents, pick the agent in the list at the top right; sources belong to one agent.
  3. Drop files on Drag & drop files here, or click to select. Each file's result is listed under it.
  4. Click a file in the list to see what the agent learned, and edit it if needed.
  5. Use Search files… to find a file, and Re-index after big changes.

Troubleshooting

"This PDF has no text layer. It looks like a scan or images. Run OCR on it first, or paste the text as a text snippet."

Run OCR on the PDF, or copy its text into Sources › Text snippets.

The list says No AI agents yet.

Files belong to an AI agent. A manager types an Agent name and presses Create agent, or creates one on AI agents › All agents.

Tips

  • A PDF must have selectable text; image-only PDFs need OCR first.
  • When a banner says live calls do not use this knowledge base yet, what you add is stored and searchable but not read on a call until AI answering is configured for the service.

Good to know

  • Storage is shared by every agent in the organisation: up to 3,000,000 characters in all, and up to 200,000 characters per source (a longer one is cut, and the cut is shown).
  • Members can read sources; only workspace managers can add, change or delete them.
