Talk to your line on screen
Have a conversation with your line's AI agent in the browser, on the same engine as a real call, without dialling anything.
Where to find it
Settings › Phone lines › Settings › Talk on screen (or step 6 of the Setup wizard)
Open this screen
Steps
- Open Settings › Phone lines, press Settings on the line and scroll to Talk on screen.
- Press Start the conversation. Allow the microphone if the browser asks.
- Press Speak and talk, or type in What the caller says and press Send. Stay silent shows what happens when a caller says nothing.
- Listen to the answer. The line listens again after each answer.
- Press Hang up to end, and Call again to start over.

Troubleshooting
"Voice input is not available in this browser. Type instead."
Type what the caller says and press Send, or use a browser with voice input.
It says the call is put through to a person and the test ends.
The caller asked for a person. On a real call the line would ring who it puts callers through to.
Tips
- Under the answer you can see which knowledge base answered it.
Good to know
- Nothing is dialled and nothing is saved as a call.
- An on-screen test does not show that real calls reach your number.
