Calls you make or answer in the browser phone are written down as you talk, both sides labelled, and saved with the call.
Where to find it
Calls › Dialer
Open this screen
Steps
- Go on the phone in the bar at the top, then place or answer a call.
- On the call, open Live assist and choose Live text.
- Your words show as You and the other person's as Them, as they are recognised.
- When the call ends, the transcript is saved with the call in Call history.
Tips
- A call is transcribed when its line or campaign has live text on, or when the call is recorded. Callers hear your line's recording notice first, as before.
Good to know
- Live text needs the phone carrier connection and a public address. Without them the panel says why and shows nothing.
- Transcripts are kept for 30 days.
- Only people who may play the recording can read it: the person on the call, owners and admins.
