Troubleshooting
The page says "Simulator mode: calls on this page are simulated. No real phone rings."
Telephony on this service is in simulator mode. Only the platform operator can switch it to a real carrier.
"There is no inbound queue in your organisation to simulate a call on."
Simulate inbound call needs a phone line. Set one up under Settings › Phone lines first.
A red box appears instead of a call.
That box names the rule that stopped the call (calling hours, do-not-call, no line, consent and so on), how to fix it and who can. See the outbound refusal articles linked below.
"Call again?" appears when I press Call.
This contact was already called. Press Call again to place a new call, or close the dialog to leave it.
Tips
- With a contact on the panel, the call goes to the contact's own saved number, put into international format from the contact's country. A typed number is used only when no contact is chosen.
- Every rule is checked before the carrier is asked to dial, so a refused call never rings anyone.
Good to know
- Every call passes the do-not-call checks, your suppression list, calling holidays, attempt limits and the calling hours in the contact's local time (9:00–20:00 by default).
- Numbers outside Japan are refused unless international calling is turned on for your workspace by the platform operator.
- AI agent calls are for owners, admins and managers. Other members call themselves with the browser phone or their own phone.
Related how-tos
- Call a contact yourself from the browser or your phone Talk to a contact yourself, either through the browser phone in this tab or by having your own phone rung first.
- Hold, mute, keypad, transfer and live coaching during a call Use the controls under a live call you are on: put the person on hold, mute, send keypad tones, transfer, mark do-not-call or ask the AI how to answer an objection.
- Log the outcome of a call Record how the call went, a callback time and your notes, so the contact's record and the call queue stay up to date.
- A call was refused or is waiting: UAE calling hours and UAE call limits Understand the only time and call limits left: the UAE's legal limits. Every other country is called at any time, with no limit.
- A call was refused: no line, no caller ID, no agent or calling not set up Fix the set-up refusals that stop every call, and see which ones only the platform operator can fix.
- Prospects (phone book) See everyone your team calls in one list or pipeline board, find a contact, move them between stages and open their record.
- Scripts Keep the call scripts your staff and AI agents follow: write them, draft them with AI, draw them as diagrams and attach them to lines, campaigns and batch calls.
- Live assist: the next question While you talk, the panel shows the next question from your script or business interview, fills in answers it hears and shows how much is covered.
- Live transcript of your calls Calls you make or answer in the browser phone are written down as you talk, both sides labelled, and saved with the call.
