Plan a cadence of touches over days
Plan a sequence of calls, SMS and e-mails over several days as a to-do list for your team, and mark each step done when somebody has done it.
Where to find it
Calls › Outbound ops › Cadences
Open this screen
Steps
- Open Calls › Outbound ops and the Cadences tab.
- Managers: under New cadence, type the Name and, for each step, the Day, the Channel (Call, SMS or Email) and What to do.
- Press Add a step for more steps (the next one is three days later by default), then press Save cadence.
- Press Open on a cadence to see its steps.
- Under Due now, do the step for each contact and press Mark done. The page says "Moved to the next step" or "That was the last step".

Troubleshooting
"Give the cadence a name"
Type a Name before pressing Save cadence.
Tips
- Each step is due on its own day; nothing advances on its own until somebody has done it.
Good to know
- A cadence is a plan for people: it does not call, text or e-mail anyone by itself. An SMS step is a reminder, and SMS sending stays off until an operator turns it on.
- Contacts are enrolled in a cadence outside this tab; this tab shows the steps that are due.
