See where callers can reach your AI agent and what is connected today.
Where to find it
Voice › Voice channels
Open this screen
Steps
- In the sidebar, open Voice › Voice channels.
- Read the tiles: Phone numbers, Lines (numbers on a line) and Answered by your agent.
- In Phone number, check each number, the line it rings and whether The AI agent answers. Press Route numbers to lines to change that on Phone lines.
- In Telephone (PSTN), press Request a number to get a new number (managers).
- In WhatsApp voice, a manager can press Notify me.
Settings on this screen
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Phone number | Your organisation's numbers and the line each rings. CallDesk buys and connects each number; you do not enter carrier credentials. | — |
| SIP trunk | Bringing your own carrier is not offered for organisations; calls go through the carrier CallDesk connects. | — |
| Web voice widget | A talk-to-agent button for your website is not offered, so there is no snippet. | — |
| WhatsApp voice | Not offered in CallDesk; managers can join the waitlist. | — |
| Telephone (PSTN) | Request a number for your organisation; no carrier account is needed. | — |
Troubleshooting
A number shows Not on a line yet.
Press Route numbers to lines and put the number on a phone line.
A number shows a reason instead of The AI agent answers.
Fix what it names on Phone lines, for example link an agent or switch the line on.
Tips
- A yellow note on the Phone number card names anything still missing in the phone connection; an administrator finishes it on Phone numbers.
Good to know
- Everyone can read this page; only managers see Request a number and Notify me.
