Carrier activity: did a call reach CallDesk?
Tell whether calls to your numbers are arriving, by reading what the phone carrier sent on the latest calls.
Where to find it
Calls › AI inbound calls › Carrier activity
Open this screenSteps
- Open “AI inbound calls” and scroll to “2 · Connection to the carrier” and “Carrier activity”.
- “Last request from the carrier:” gives the time of the most recent request. No line means nothing has arrived yet.
- In “Carrier activity”, each row shows “When”, the “Step” of the call, the “Called number”, the “Caller” and the “Status”.
- Compare with “Call activity” below, which lists the calls themselves with their summary and sentiment.
Troubleshooting
“Nothing from the carrier is on record for your recent calls.”
Calls are on record but the carrier's requests for them are not kept here any more, or they came another way. Place a new call and reload.
I called my number but nothing is listed.
Check that the number is connected to your organisation and in international format on Phone lines. Requests that fail the carrier's signature check are refused and not listed.
Tips
- There is no webhook for you to set: CallDesk connects your numbers to the carrier.
Good to know
- Only the last few calls are listed.
