Get your calls answered by your AI agent
Go from nothing to a line your AI agent answers: a number, a line, your agent and its knowledge, a test, then the switch.
Where to find it
Home › Setup wizard
Open this screen
Steps
- Request a phone number on Settings › Phone numbers with Request a phone number, if you have none yet.
- Open Home › Setup wizard. In Phone line and business hours, pick or create the line and choose its number.
- In Your AI agent, press Create your AI agent and add what it should know: your services, hours and common questions.
- Optionally build the prompt and choose who to put through.
- In Test incoming and outgoing calls, talk to the line on screen, then hear it on your own phone.
- In Switch on your AI agent, press Turn on.
Troubleshooting
Turn on is greyed out at the last step.
Something is still missing; the step lists it. See the phone line problems article for each message.
Tips
- Until the agent is switched on, calls to the line ring your team.
Good to know
- A real call reaches your number only once the number is connected to your organisation and routed to the line.
