"The browser phone is not on in this tab."
Turn on the browser phone (the phone button at the top) and allow the microphone, then press Call again.
"The browser phone is already on a call."
Finish that call first.
"The browser phone could not place the call."
Allow the microphone for this site and check the headset, then press Call again.
"Browser calling is not set up on this deployment (Twilio API key or TwiML app missing)."
Only the platform operator can finish the browser phone setup. Meanwhile choose Ring my phone first.
"There is no phone of yours to ring first."
Turn on the browser phone and choose Call from this browser, or ask an admin to set your phone number (extension) on the Team page.
"There is no number to call from (caller ID)."
Your workspace has no number to show as caller ID yet. An owner or admin requests one on the Phone numbers page.
Tips
- Your phone is ringing. Answer it, and the customer is called on the same call: that message tells you the bridge has started.
Good to know
- The same calling rules apply as for every call: do-not-call, suppression list, calling hours and attempt limits.
